Here's some pictures of our meals starting From last Friday to this Friday. So remeber we have weekly meals, four nights a week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Friday's meal... beef with carrots and potatoes. Dessert was some type of cream or custard, Delish! and of course a cheese platter.

Monday: Now Monday's meal was not my favorite meal. Our host family had company over so Leah and I had to eat in the kitchen. For dinner we had what we believe to be pumpkin soup. It was tasty but a little thin so we weren't that full. Also we had what I believed to be either pate or some kind of loaf or mold. The meat tasted fine but the texture of it I could do without. It had some type of jelly to hold the mold . The jelly reminded me of when you cold chicken or sauce that solidified in the fridge . Nevertheless, it was ok on top of the bread. Dessert was fruit sauce ( it tasted like cassis and strawberry) and with a cream side,

Tuesday: Tuesday's meal was better. We had potatoes and beef, again. It was good but I hope she doesn't think Leah and I only eat beef. We told her we don't eat pork. Let's pray we see a little birdie on our plates next week. Nevertheless, this meal was on point, especially the beef that still had a little pulse; just how I like it. We had the same dessert that we had the day before.

Just a close up of the meat. See how pink it is, and the red on the plate was the blood. OMG so good. |
Thursday: Pot roast ( think) and this ammmazing potato( I know) and broccoli dish with cheese. Now you know the consequences of broccoli and cheese together but I didn't care, it was sooo good. We had mandarins for dessert which were sweet.
Friday: Friday we had a Lebanese dish which was packed with extreme flavor I think thought it was beef but in fact might have been lamb in the style that we have gyros back at home with white rice, and a fruit topping. I thought it was cranberries but it looked like the inside of a pomegranate. They were sour but it was a great balance with the cucumber sauce we had on the side. I ended up drizzling the sauce over everything. And for dessert.... Crème Brulée !
What a week!
