So, just out of the blue I decide to post on my blog pics of my hair. I don't know why but I just wanted to share. I've been posting up pics on Facebook and Instagram but not mainly for my hair just because I love me haha. Tell me what you think. Here's a few pictures of my hair styles since being in Paris. I love me hair more now so I just thought I share some images with you all especially since some of you don't have Facebook nor Instagram which is fine.
A few pics are from when we first arrived in Paris but the majority of the picture are from Valentines day on when I decide to wear it out. I've been wearing it in two strand twists to protect my hair from the winter weather. This week I'll be going back until its my bday week and then I'll take it out. I wash my hair once a month but deep condition every two weeks and moisturize when I need to. Since I've been wearing it out for about 2 weeks now, I'm going to wash it and twist. But anyway, take a look, and tell me what you think. Stay tuned- Coacobelle <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">

Weekly update...Bon Voyage DTW Paris Rotation
Bonjour tout le monde! This post is nothing special. Just here to give an update on Leah and I. So this week was the last 3 days we got a chance to spend with some of the friends we made thus far. The students are in DTW, so Thursday morning they went to Rome, Italy for the next 5 weeks. So sad to see them go; met a lot of great people. [Pictures below.] Also, it was the end of module 1! Meaning, I am done with Metaphysics....Yeah Man. On Wednesday Leah and I had a small tutoring session with three French girls who wanted to work on their spoken English. They are learning English because they are taking a business exam to get into one of the best business schools in Paris. They told us that out of the 5,000 who score high on their exams, only about 300 will be selected. Now my numbers might be off a bit but you get the picture. It was so much fun speaking to them and laughing. More than that, it was fun exchanging things about French and American Culture. During our session it dawned on me that I've been in Paris for almost two months and I have no French friends. In addition, because majority of my friends speak only English, I speak more English than I do French, that's not good at all. When I go outside, I speak only French to people in stores and on the streets, but I'm inside more than I am outside. As a result, by the suggestion of my friend Kaysen, I decided to join this page called meetup. It's when you meet up with a group at venues; there's different types of groups. There's some for music, wine, art, travelling, etc. The groups I joined are people looking to improve their French and English. You spend equal amount of time talking in French and then in English. It's totally informal so "less pressure"
This weeks dinner in order of appearance =)
Monday we had something similar to stew chicken with potatoes, leeks ( of course), and carrots! Dessert we had grapefruit which is called pamplemousse en francais.
Thursday we had potatoes and carrots, again, with a meat patty seasoned with what tasted like either cilantro or basil. I'm not sure. All I know is that it was good! For dessert we had creme brulee. This whole time I thought she was making the creme brulee, but I saw them in the fridge last week! They're store bought but sooo good.
Friday we had rice with salmon and a creamy sauce, with leeks ( of course). It was really delicious For dessert we had a apple crumb with vanilla ice cream !
Here are just a few pictures of the people I've gotten to know...

Tuesday we had a very bitter salad, I think it was blue cheese crumbles with walnuts. The lettuce might had been sour. At any rate, we had roast beef with Tagliatelle pasta. Yummy

Lee and I on Vday |
Anyway, here are the images...
Lundi 4 Feb .. This is our alternative dinner because we didn't the ham dish. This wasn't bad. Fresh carrots and some roast beef. The dessert I really didn't like much. It was like a moose made with chocolate powder I assume. It had a very pasty like taste and I didn't like that. It also some type of fruit or candy.

Mardi 5 Feb.. This dinner was a little better than the previous one. This is a quiche with leeks. This family love leeks

Mecredi.. 6 Feb... Since we fast on Wednesday, Lee lee and I decided not to have meals on Wednesday. Remember we only get four meals a week. After our little prayer meeting with each other, we broke our fast with this pasta that I bought from the supermarket Carrefour. It's fresh, not frozen pasta. It's bow tie pasta with chicken and Parmesan cheese. So delicious.
Jeudi 7 Feb. Finally we got chicken!!!! Thank God. It was oven fried chicken with a pinto beans, carrots, potatoes and string bean veggie mix. Tasty
Lundi 11 Feb. Bolognese lasagna... was on point! For dessert we had teramsi
Mardi Gras.. Fat Tuesday 12 Feb . Our host mother told us that on Mardi Gras, the French normally eat crepes, which is originated from Brittany... That post will be coming up. So we had two crepes The first one was Salmon with creme fraiche. The second crepe was turkey meat with eggs. Then we made a dessert crepe.

Vendredi 15 Feb.. We had a little feast because our host brother John will be departing today to go to Spain for a small trip and once he returns, he'll be going back to Korea. So here's our little feast For dessert we had three chocolate ice cream
Early Friday, I went to the Jewish Museum with my friend Kaysen and we were hungry afterwards. So we stopped in a bakery to get some pizza and I had to get this pastry. It called out to me because strawberries are my favorite! It was so yummy... I mean just look at it.
